[HOW-TO] Add Gravity Volume

Post by Dragosvr92 »

Marcus requested i would write a tutorial for adding Gravity on a map, so here it is !
I wondered why i didnt write it any sooner as i used it on two maps already.
Cosmos StarTrek Entemprises Map and DM-Lunar-C.dz. Seems it is very easy. Okay... here we go....
  • Get your Cube builder(Redline brush) around the area you want gravity.
  • Click the Blue Volumes cube Image and then click PhysicsVolume.
  • Move the red building brush and double click your PhysicsVolume to get inside its properties.
  • Browse to the Physics Volume tag, under Object... Go to "Gravity"
  • Under Gravity, you will see some x,y,z fields.... The default game gravity is set to -1500.000000
  • Just change that to a lower number. For example -700.000000. Thats the Lunar Gravity setting.
  • That is all. The change is instant. It doesnt require any reBuilding.
Enjoy ! :D
