Welcome on the forums GreenCaptain,

What problems are you having, you cant find new maps or you cant install them ?

We released four map packs with recent maps made by Cosmo-Genesis and a few other mappers that you might want to install, if you havent already.. If you need help installing them, let us know please.

Sorry, I can't remember how to install all the updates mentioned. I'm not good with instructions.

I unzipped all the update packs (1-26). Do I just drag them into a specific folder?

Hey @Logan ! Its nice to see you back after all these years.
After you download the 26 map packs, you have to install them one by one. Open file, check if the path to your lotd folder is correct, and click install or extract... If you have trouble with it, i can help you via Team Viever or Anydesk. Good luck !

I read and tried the instructions from the many forum posts, but do not understand how to install the maps. I try to host a game too, but no one can join. Can someone make a YouTube video that show how to do the installs of maps and patches, etc?

The map file is INXXX.DZ,please put the DZ file in the Levels folder of the game
other corresponding documents,UKX=\Animations,UAX=\Audio\SoundFX,USX=\Meshes,.U=\System,UTX=\Textures

The maps are easy to install. Just open each map pack file, check if the install path is corerct, and hit install....

The server issues are another subject... You have to open your ports in your firewall to allow players to join your network.
You may read about it in this tutorial.

Sometimes maps aren't released as such (with installers). They can be upped to a server and players will download the content. Hosting a game requires that all those joining have the same files as the host (original files as well as new content). Avoiding mismatches is another thread..
