* Check your internet Port Security *
Does your pc have open vulnerable ports? If you don't know.. then it just may have. O_O

For this security test.. all you need is your browser. There's nothing to install.
Although you may wish to install a firewall after the test if you fail. lol!

1: GO TO: https://www.grc.com/shieldsup
2: Click the Proceed button.
3: Click the All Service Ports for a real good thorough check.
... otherwise you can also click on the File Sharing.. Common Ports.. and other port check buttons.
* * IF you connect through a router.. ALSO click on the GRC's Instant UPnP Exposer Test button.

* If you currently run a software firewall.. then click Block for any popups you may get when running the test.

* NOTE: This test will hammer your connection for a few minutes from the ip range: 4.79.142.192 -thru- 4.79.142.207
- So don't be downloading stuff when you check your internet for open vulnerable ports.
- GRC.com is a highly respected website that's been online for decades. So they won't actually be doing anything to your pc.
- It's only checking for open vulnerable ports on your pc. and that is all.

* You want All ports to say: Stealth.
* You don't want : Open ports.
* If you run a a webserver.. then of course port 80 will be open.. as it should be and is fine.
* If you run any servers.. then that port it uses will be open as it should be.

* MY RESULTS: All Ports: Stealth

* NOTE: Most routers have built in firewalls. So if your connecting through a router.. then you may be safe.
* NOTE: All Mobile Internet devices : 2G, 3G, 4G. Are behind NAT routers. which blocks all incoming connections.
-- therefore that is why you can not run any servers on a mobile internet device. ie: 2G,3G,4G.
-- therefore a mobile network already has a firewall in place. 2g,3g,4g.

* And that concludes my port vulnerbility info.. Check back later on for a list of Free Software Firewalls that you can install.
- And before I do.. ALWAYS make a system restore point before installing any software firewalls. Always.

* Leak Test.
Now that you have Incoming ports protected... Let's check the Outgoing Connections.
For you don't want trojans sending out your info if you get infected with a trojan.
If the leaktest connects out.. then so shall a trojan or virus.

1: Go TO: https://www.grc.com/lt/leaktest.htm
And click the Download Now Button. and download the leaktest.exe.
2: Run The LeakTest.exe... Did it connect out?
* Click Block when your firewall ask...
- You want it to Not connect to the grc website.
