[HOW-TO] Find Ghost StaticMesh in Unrealed 2.5

Post by Dragosvr92 »

If in game you happen to see a non-solid and wrongly placed mesh, but it is nowhere to be seen in the Editor, then you probably set its DrawScale3D Values to zero, which hidden it. There is no way (that i know of) to select it again and change its properties to make it show again.

The only way to remove it is by going to Edit=> Search for Actors...(or just click the Binoculars icon).
After you open the Search for Actors window, you will sadly need to go through each and every StaticMesh to find your mesh.

To find it, you will have to Doubleclick every single mesh in that list, until you find yours. The mesh you are looking for has no solid body and is shown with only a tiny red plus symbol. When you finally locate it, Click Delete Actor, and you are done.

PS: You can use the Filter to list only meshes and not Brushes or other Actors by typing StaticMeshActor into the Name area.
